Price charts visualize historical trades. They help describe what happened; they do not reliably tell you what will happen next.

Candlesticks

Each candle shows open, high, low, and close for a timeframe. Long wicks can signal rejection of prices, but context matters—news events can invalidate pattern lore.

Volume panels

Volume bars accompany price action. Rising price on declining volume may indicate weaker participation—interpret cautiously.

Indicators

Moving averages, RSI, and MACD summarize past data. Parameter choices change signals arbitrarily. Avoid treating indicators as oracle outputs.

Responsible use

Use charts to plan entries and exits only within a written risk plan. Combine with fundamentals and custody security—not hype.

Summary

Charts are descriptive tools. Uncertainty remains even when patterns look compelling.
